Gallery Description In August 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, residents in Budapest received a letter on their doorstep. The city council had asked for help. The letter asked the citizens to register for Hungary's first citizen assembly. The purpose of the assembly was to narrow down the topic of climate change and ask the stakeholders' opinions on how to fight it. In the end, the assembly drafted a set of recommendations which served as the basis of the final climate strategy that the government implemented in February 2021.
