India to highlight ‘LIFE’ movement during the COP27 summit

PM Modi will represent India at the UN Climate Change Conference, Conference of Parties (COP27), which is going to be held in Egypt from 6-18th November 2022. As per the statement released by the Union Environment Ministry, PM is going to highlight the LIFE Movement Lifestyle for the Environment which was launched on the occasion of World Environment Day, 5 June 2022.


The ministry added that "LIFE - Lifestyle for the Environment" will be the theme of India’s pavilion at the global climate summit COP27. The LIFE Movement (Life for the Environment) Global Mission was launched with the objective to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle across the globe. Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested the world must adopt an eco-friendly lifestyle. He further emphasised that everyone has to adapt to save the earth and every individual must try at their level. During the previous UN Climate Conference, India mentioned the LIFE movement and later launched the same this year on Environment Day.
