Gautam Adani seals the biggest deal in India's renewable energy sector with SB Energy buyout for $3.5 billion. Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has acquired SB Energy India for USD 3.5 billion, the company spokesperson made a statement on Monday. It is the largest developer of solar power in the world now that SB Energy Holdings Ltd (SB Energy India) is its subsidiary with this deal.
The curriculum of education in engineering colleges will now include more topics on green energy and skills required for green jobs. The current syllabus focuses only on coal mining,and other courses on petroleum engineering etc. This will pave a way for creation of green jobs and further development of the clean energy industry.

DMT Environmental Technology (DMT) will be providing the biogas upgrading technology for the first ever collaboration between Thames Water and SGN Commercial Services in the UK.
