Bengaluru based startup Bellatrix aerospace has successfully tested an eco-friendly propulsion system to launch the rockets and satellites into space. The new system has the ability to cut emissions of harmful compounds while the launching process and can also increase fuel efficiency, the ET report said.

Nurdles are tiny pellets of plastic that are supplied as raw materials to industries. There these pellets are melted and poured into molds of different kinds to make stuff, but not all nurdles end up like that. According to estimates 2,00,000 metric tonnes of plastic pellets end up in the ocean. The beads are really lightweight, one weighs about 20 mg. With that estimate about 10 trillion nurdles make their way into the oceans.

The officials of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation have reported that they have received more than 2,000 applications to avail E-waste collection service. Through the online portal launched last year in June by SDMC over 900 people have so far successfully managed to submit their electrical waste.
