Delhi schools to remain in lockdown due to severe air quality

The Directorate of Education on Sunday announced that the schools will remain shut till further orders for the physical classes due to the worsening air condition in the capital.


To restrict the increment in the air pollution Delhi government has ordered schools to continue with online learning and advised the offices to allow WFH to 50% of the total employee strength.

In the past week, the national capital was in complete lockdown given the severe air quality and all construction works were at a halt but from Monday the construction activities will be resumed even as the air quality remains in the ‘ very poor ’ category.
